Online quotes are based on the property details you enter. If the property turns out to be materially different (size, storeys, access, scope), we will confirm any change in price with you before the inspection goes ahead.
You are responsible for arranging safe access to the property at the agreed time, including the builder's or agent's consent where needed. If access is not available when the inspector arrives, a call-out fee may apply.
Each inspection is a visual, non-invasive assessment of the areas that are safely accessible on the day, carried out to the relevant Australian Standard and described on the service page you booked from. Concealed, inaccessible or obstructed areas are excluded and noted in the report.
Reports are prepared for the person who commissioned them and reflect the condition of the property at the time of inspection. They are not a warranty or guarantee against future defects and should not be relied on by anyone else without our written agreement.
Payment is due before the report is released unless agreed otherwise in writing. Prices include GST.
You may cancel or reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Later cancellations may incur a fee covering the inspector's time.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from an inspection or report is limited to the fee paid for that service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
